14.11.2008 - A new feature for this season sees the SSFC Pro-Evo World Club Championship kicking-off on Monday 1st December 2008 at the Stechford Social W.M.C. Participates will put their finger skills to the test against each other, playing Pro-Evolution Soccer 2009 on Playstation 3 format. Players need to register before 8pm on the night to ensure they are in the draw for the competition that will be displayed on a large screen with surround-sound to give that real cup feeling. The entry fee is £3 per player and doors will be opened at 7.15pm for anyone wishing to use the 1-hour practice session that will be available or to simply try and get the best team from around the world.

27.10.2008 - While Stechford Social FC battled against Linden Athletic, the O'Donnell brothers, Sean and Mark, completed Birmingham's First Half Marathon on Sunday 26th October 2008 with times of 1hr 41mins and 1hr 39mins respectively. Between them they have raised over £500 for Stechford Social FC's recognised charity BCOP (Broadening Choices for Older People). Well done lads and good luck for next years challenge; The Great North run in Newcastle followed by Birmingham’s Half Marathon again!!

26.10.2008 - Craig Clinton completes the full circle by signing for Stechford Social again, after spells with Berkley and Kingshurst St.George during the last few seasons. Craig and fellow new boy Jamie Clarke joins the Stechford Social playing squad of 28 and everyone at the club wishes them both well.

23.10.2008 - Stechford Social Football Club acknowledges and has signed-up to support the FA’s Respect campaign. Respect is The FA's programme of activities to combat unacceptable behaviour in our game at every level - on the pitch and from the sidelines. Everyone connected with Stechford Social FC are encouraged to back the this campaign with players, management and supporters demonstrating their commitment by agreeing to the FA’s codes of conduct associated with their particular role within the club. 05.09.2008 - Stechford Social FC launch their new kit for the forthcoming season. The clubs traditional colours of Royal Blue and White have been re-introduced with a quality looking kit manufactured by Prostar. Please feel free to visit our photo exhibition section on the notice board to view the new kit being launched, which proudly includes the logo of one of the clubs new sponsors; Guest Removals.

20.08.2008 - Stechford Social FC are proud to announce the appointment of Mark O’Donnell as their new club Fitness and Nutritionist. Having qualified in this discipline, Mark will now lead on all training sessions and match day preparations assisting the team management to ensure all squad players’ performance reaches the expected standard required for the season ahead. We wish Mark every success in his new position within the club.

15.08.2008 - The Social's pre-season plans are well and truly underway, with two out of two victories in the opening warm-up games of the season. Fitness levels of squad members are increasing as each week passes and will be required in order to face some tough opposition over the next few weeks. Despite a few key players being ruled out until December, the Social have recruited a number of additional quality players to strengthen the squad which will assist with the clubs progress that has been made over the past two seasons.

14.08.2008 - Stechford Social's fixture on Sunday 14th September against Linden Athletic has been cancelled and a trip to Hockley Heath Dynamos is now scheduled a week before our first round cup clash of the Len Ward Trophy.

31.07.2008 - As the season approaches, Stechford Social has confirmed 4 pre-season fixtures, starting this Sunday against Coronation League outfit Moseley Village. The Social will also face Great Barr Galaxy, Videotone and Holy Souls in the following weeks.

21.07.2008 - Stechford Social face Kingshurst St.George at Saltley School on the opening day of the new season before travelling to Linden Athletic, Alum Rock and newly promoted Pershore Argyle during September. The Social have been drawn at home against Hockley Heath Dynamos in the first round of the Len Ward Trophy, which will be played on Sunday 21st September 2008. The Social have been granted a bye in the first round of the Jeff Hall Shield, which is a new competition included this forthcoming season.

07.07.2008 - Stechford Social's annual presentation was held on Friday 4th July 2008. The Social's shot-stopper, Andy Wood won The Player of the Year award, with Leroy Robinson taking both Players Player and Supporters Player of the Year trophies. Club secretary, Sean O'Donnell was presented with Clubperson of the Year for the second year running and all the squad members were presented with their Teddy Eden Cup winners trophies. Congratulations to all the winners this year and lets hope the Social have another successful year next season.

04.06.2008 - Pre-season training will commence on Sunday 13th July 2008 at the Brockhurst playing fields in Hodge Hill. Sessions are expected to be held every Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings thereafter, with five pre-season friendly matches also lined up throughout August.

06.05.2008 - Stechford Social FC won the Teddy Eden Cup on Sunday with a 3-0 victory over local rivals Sporting Brockhurst. First half goals from Scott Thompson and Omar Osman gave the Social a comfortable lead at the break before supersub Jamie Vaughan netted after replacing John Thompson. The match was played in good spirit by both teams and was watched by a packed main stand at Solihull Moors FC.

02.04.2008 - Stechford Social FC beat rivals Kingshurst St.George 5-2 in the Semi-Final fixture of the Teddy Eden Cup. Man of The Match John Thompson scored an impressive hat-trick, with Leroy Williams converting a penalty in the first half and Mark O'Donnell rounding things off towards the end. The Social now face local outfit Sporting Brockhurst in the Final on Sunday 4th May 2008 at Solihull Moors FC. Kick-off is 10:30am and there is a £2 entrance fee for spectators.

10.03.2008 - Stechford Social FC launch their new website. The improved site will produce all the traditional club information including fixtures, results, goalscorers and player statistics, in addition to this the new website will also incorporate other areas of interest like chat forums for players and fans alike.
